Bill D.
CEO/President
Bill helped build Picasso Pawn. Integral to the growth from a two stores to nine current locations across North Carolina his leadership shaped the current infrastructure of LDPM, Inc., the parent management company for Picasso Pawn.
Bill has been in the pawn business for over 25 years, working his way up from floor sales to executive management. In that time, Bill has watched the industry undergo tremendous change and it continues to evolve. In Bill’s vision, pawn shops should be seen as beacons in their respective communities, giving people greater access to immediate cash. Moreover, he has worked tirelessly to legitimize the pawn industry and move it further away from negative stereotypes.
Bill is a graduate of East Carolina University, where he earned a bachelors in marketing. Prior to joining what would become LDPM, Inc. and Picasso Pawn, Bill worked with Shearson Lehman Hutton as a Compliance Officer, Operations and Financial Advisor. Like several staffers in the company Bill holds a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Certificate in Diamonds and Diamond Grading.
Outside of work, Bill is an avid cook and golfer, loves the Carolina Hurricanes, and is active with church missionary work.
